It has no sidebar entry — open it from the avatar menu in the top bar, where the entry is labelled Profile. That menu also links to Members, to Billing for workspace owners, and to Log out.

Profile
Profile — Your personal account information — shows your Name and Email. Both are read-only here; they come from the account you signed up or signed in with.Workspace
Workspace — Manage your workspace — carries Workspace settings, from which you can delete the workspace you are currently in. The confirmation states the consequence plainly: This will permanently delete the workspace and all its data. This cannot be undone. Yes, delete workspace carries it out. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no scheduled removal and nothing to cancel. Once it succeeds, the workspace’s paid seat is released from your subscription. See Workspaces. Two workspaces cannot be deleted here:- Your personal workspace — Your personal workspace can’t be deleted.
- A workspace you do not own — Only the workspace owner can delete this workspace.
Privacy
Privacy — Control what we record about your use of Cognee — holds one switch, Session recording: Lets us replay how pages were used to find what is slow or confusing. Your text, documents, search results and graphs stay masked. Error reporting runs either way. You are asked once, on your first sign-in to the app, by a dialog titled Help us improve Cognee: Would you be willing to let us record your session with sensitive content masked? It helps us see which pages and actions are slow or confusing. — followed by This is optional. Cognee works the same if you decline, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings. The two answers are Yes, record my session and No, do not record; dismissing the dialog counts as declining, and it stays open if the answer could not be saved. It is never shown during onboarding. This switch is where that answer is changed later, in either direction. Switching it off takes effect immediately — the page reloads so nothing carries on recording in an open tab — and other tabs signed in as you stop as well. Recording is off for anyone who was never asked.Danger zone
Danger zone — Irreversible account actions — holds Delete account, which permanently deletes your account: every workspace you own, all their data, your subscription, and your login. This cannot be undone. To arm it you must type your own email address to confirm; Permanently delete my account then completes it. See Delete your account.Appearance, language, and plan
Settings has no appearance or language options:- Theme. Cognee Cloud only has a dark theme. There is no light mode.
- Language. The interface is in English only. Your browser’s built-in page translation works on it. Your data, searches, and answers can be in any language.
- Plan and billing. These are not in Settings. Workspace owners open Billing from the avatar menu. See Account & Billing, which also explains how to redeem codes, get invoices, and stop recurring charges.
